About The Wiltshire Upholsteress
Hi, I’m Emily and I am the Wiltshire Upholsteress!
I inherited my love of furniture and style from my father who was a furniture designer. Needing a new career once my children were older, I decided to follow my passion and embarked on my diploma and in 2019 The Wiltshire Upholsteress was founded. Since then I have helped numerous clients breathe new life into their furniture, restoring much-loved heirlooms and updating modern pieces with gorgeous fabrics.
I am passionate about the environment and love that my job allows me to help clients to save furniture from landfill. I am also a member of the Sustainable Upholstery Forum and am keen to work with customers to make every piece as eco-friendly as I can.
Having started off as a one-woman band, The Wiltshire Upholsteress is now a family business with my husband assisting in the heavy lifting, building footstool and headboard frames, and even uses the sewing machines occasionally!!
Our aim is to offer a complete service, from helping you in the initial design phase, choosing the perfect fabric and working within your budget to create beautiful furniture for your space.
